Kaylin Reynolds-Dowdell
Kaylin Reynolds-Dowdell is the Finance Manager at Soulardarity. She joined the team in 2023, bringing a deep love for the City of Highland Park and 7 years of Financial Management experience. Kaylin began her financial career as a relationship banker at Huntington Bank, she soon realized that her passion for financial literacy meant she needed to deepen her work within her community. In 2018, Kaylin left corporate banking and became the senior financial analyst at Poly Pomona LLC, a Detroit based financial management company focused on increasing financial literacy among youth and senior citizens alike, through financial seminars and training. Through her work at Poly Pomona and Soulardarity, Kaylin is able to service and connect with the community that she credits for aiding in both her professional and personal growth.
At Soulardarity, Kaylin focuses on maintaining and improving the organization’s financial health and sustainability. She especially cares about financial transparency and empowering the community through resource management. Kaylin’s proudest achievement while at Soulardarity occurred in 2024 when she was entrusted with the task of manually paying over $100,000 in shut off and outstanding utility bills on behalf of community members.
Outside of work, Kaylin enjoys exploring new restaurants, spending time with her family and working out.
