Max Boyd

Max Boyd joined Soulardarity in late 2023 as the Highland Park Organizer. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Max moved to Highland Park in 2019 to become the new youth pastor at Revival Tabernacle Church, located at 6 Mile & Woodward. With a degree in Bible & Theology and an emphasis in majority world theology, his faith and passion have always pointed him towards justice and equity, which led him to join Soulardarity. 

At Soulardarity, Max takes the lead in all programs that affect Highland Park – including our solar streetlight initiatives, our home repair programs, and most importantly, building relationships with Highland Parkers to educate, train, and care for them. Max has a passion to see Highland Park become a beacon of justice, equity, and care, and has shown that through Soulardairy.

Outside of Soul, Max continues to lead as the youth pastor of Revival Tabernacle. He enjoys discovering new music and concerts, laughing and spending time with his wife and friends, and cheering on his favorite Chicago teams (we’ll give him a pass…he still cheers for Detroit as his second team)!
