As the Michigan legislature prepares for its final days of the 2024 session, we have a critical opportunity to secure progress for clean energy. On December 4th, advocates from across the state will come together in Lansing for Community Solar Lobby Day to push for the passage of the community solar bills (HB 4464/SB 152 and HB 4465/SB 153). Community solar will expand access to affordable, renewable energy, especially for those who face barriers to rooftop solar. With a divided legislature looming in 2025, this is a pivotal moment to make our voices heard and ensure Michigan stays on the path to a clean energy future.
