DTE seeks an increase in their return on equity from 9.9% to 10.25%. It would cause a 9% increase in residential gas rates. A final decision from the Commission is likely to be made on the matter by December 2024. \n\n\n\nDTE 2024 Electric Rate Case (Case #U-21534) DTE seeks a $456.4 M electric rate increase and an additional ~$250 M in an Investment Recovery Mechanism primarily for electric distribution grid expenses. DTE seeks an increase in their return on equity from 9.9% to 10.25%. It would cause a 9.6% increase in residential electric rates.
