FETP – Regulatory and Policy Coordinator

🌱 Regulatory & Policy Coordinator (Contract)
Join the Frontline Energy Transition Partnership (FETP) — a coalition of frontline organizations advancing energy justice in Michigan. We’re seeking a detail-oriented, community-driven leader to coordinate regulatory and policy work, engage with the Michigan Public Service Commission, and support legislative coalitions.

📍 Hybrid – Southeast Michigan | 💼 Independent Contractor | 💵 $100/hour until $20k is expended | ⏳ ~200 hours

You’ll:

  • Represent FETP in regulatory processes & coalition spaces
  • Support frontline communities and experts in energy cases
  • Help secure over $500k in UCPB funding for just energy transitions

Ideal for:

  • Policy advocates with experience in organizing or environmental justice
  • Professionals familiar with regulatory work or eager to learn MPSC processes

Overview


Soulardarity is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to provide legal or tax consultation services for 9 staff members (both employees and independent contractors) as they review and consider signing new contracts; we aim to ensure clarity, intentionality, and fairness in these agreements.

Scope of Work

The selected professionals will:

  • Legal Professional: Review staff contracts, provide one-on-one or group consultation to staff regarding their rights and obligations, and ensure compliance with labor laws.

Deliverables

  • Initial review of all staff contracts.
  • One-on-one or group consultation sessions with staff to provide:
    • Recommendations and guidance to staff regarding their contracts.
    • Address any remaining concerns.

Compensation

  • $2,000 – $2,500 for contract review and staff consultations.
  • Hourly and flat-rate proposals will be considered.

Proposal Requirements

Interested professionals should submit a proposal including:

  • A brief introduction and relevant experience.
  • Approach to contract review and consultation.
  • Estimated time required and fee structure.
  • References from similar engagements.

Submission

  • Proposals Selection and Notification: First Come, First Serve Basis. On a rolling basis
  • 1:1 Consultations: No later than April 30th at 2200 Hunt Street Station 48207
