Ross Harris

Ross Harris is a veteran community organizer with over 15 years of experience mobilizing residents, building coalitions, and advancing grassroots solutions across Detroit. His work spans housing justice, labor rights, political education, and environmental equity, with a focus on uplifting Black-led movements and frontline communities.

As Deputy Director at Soulardarity, Ross brings deep expertise in strategic organizing, stakeholder engagement, and campaign development. His leadership supports the organization’s mission to democratize energy, strengthen community power, and create just, sustainable infrastructure in Highland Park and beyond.
